Happy Birthday to me!!

well tomorrow(August 27th) it's my birthday. i'll be turning 23. i feel old but when i say my age it really doesn't sound that old. some days though i wish i could put my life on pause or something because it seems like my life is going by so fast. the days are over before you know it.

Tomorrow my mom and i are heading to Alberta to visit some family and go shopping in Edmonton. it will be nice to get away for awhile. i haven't really been able to get away very much this summer cause i've been so busy taking classes and working. so i think this will be good for me. and then i start school again on September 5. and hopefully i can continue to do well in my classes. i want to raise my average to a 70 before i graduate.

last night i went to the Pump with my friend Cassie and my brother's gf Chelsey. i also met up with some other friends there too. Well since my birthday is tomorrow, Cassie paid for my way in and bought all my drinks. i thought that was awesome of her. i never expected her to do that. Well actually Chelsey bought me one drink, which was nice of her too. and then later on(when i was really drunk) we were outside on the deck talking to some guys, which Cassie knew one of them and then i was flirting with the other guy. well one of my friends came over and took his wallet and took $20 out of it and shoved it down the front of my shirt. i told him that he had to come and get it if he wanted to and he tried but not very hard. i even joked that he should let me keep the money since it was my birthday soon and he was like, ok. so i ended up making $20 at the bar! lol and this guy was really hot too. but he was engaged. oh well. so that money paid for our cab ride home. i also got a birthday card from my friend Kristal, who's birthday was yesterday and in it she put $20. so i took $50 to the bar, which i brought home, plus $20 from her and then i spent the other $20 on a cab ride home and gave the change to Chelsey. i think i had a pretty successful night at the bar :) overall, it was a really good night and i'm glad i went out. i had such an awesome time.

i started talking to this guy who moved to Regina in 1998 from the Ukraine. he's got the cutest accent, plus i think he's cute. he's 31 and he's some kind of computer consultant, or like he said, a computer geek, only not the kind living in his parent's basement. he owns his own house. and he seems like a really nice guy. i'm going to meet him when i get back and just see where things go. i don't want to rush it. cause if i do, then things will go wrong. that's how it usually works for me. but anyways, we'll see what happens and then go from there.
