almost done this semester!!!!!

i am very excited that i only have 1 final left. i wrote my 4th one today(although one of my finals was actually only a take home final). the one i wrote today wasn't too bad, it was only 30 multiple choice and 2 short answer. only took me like 45 minutes. i just hope that i was able to get most of the multiple choice because i didn't really study for this exam. so i guess that would be my own fault if i didn't do so well. but tonight i'll be studying for my last final that i have tomorrow, which is my education class. our format for the test is: 15 definitions, 7-8 short answer and 1 essay. i don't think it will be too bad. a lot of material to cover but a lot of it is common sense. and i've done pretty well in that class so far so i think i should be ok.

well i'm starting to get more hours at work. i only have 23.75 next week but they still thought i was unavailable for 3 of the days. so maybe they will call me in for one of those days. i wouldn't work them all though cause it will be nice to have a couple days off where i can do absolutely nothing and not have to worry about school or going to work. maybe i'll start cleaning out my room. i have so much junk in there it's not even funny. i guess i also need to wrap my presents. they are all stuffed into my closet, which there is hardly any room in there at all.

the uplands community board has decided to make an award in memory of my dad. the person who wins the award would have to have similiar qualities to my dad and have put in a lot of time as a volunteer for the community. my dad also got an honorable mention award for his time and dedication as well as some other awards so the person who won it would also have had to win some awards. it is kind of nice that they decided to do this but at the same time, my mom is upset because they didn't even ask us about it. we had no idea about it and are wondering when they actually would have told us about it. but i do think it's really nice that they would honour my dad this way since he did do a lot for the uplands community. he was always helping out with something.

still living the single life. in a way it's been kind of nice cause i haven't really had time to hang out with anyone. not that anyone calls me to hang out but still. i don't think i would have had time to have a bf. but now i do wish that i had someone who loves me and wants to spend time with me and someone i can call to talk to and stuff like that. i feel like i am slowly starting to lose everyone that i used to talk to. even Rob, cause he just got a new gf. so i probably won't talk to him much, although my friends seem to think that he's no good for me anyways. but i guess it still bothers me that he has a gf. maybe it's cause i don't have anyone. i just feel like i am never going to meet the right person. so many people my age are starting to get married and settle down and have a family. i can't wait for that to happen with me, although i know i should finish school before i do that.

my stupid sociology prof gave me a 57 on the 12 page term paper that i wrote about a week ago. he told basically that my writing sucks and that it's holding me back and that i should get help right away. none of my other profs have told me that it was that bad. oh well. as long as i pass that class. i wrote the final on monday and it wasn't too bad. i just hope that i did ok. i'll know by Friday how i did.

other than that, i don't think there is anything else that is new with me. if there is, i'll post it later. by the way, thanks for the christmas card ramona and ilynna :)
