the semester is almost done

i can't believe how fast this semester has gone. although that is not a good thing for me as i still have to finish my education portfolio, plus a 4-5 page paper for that class, a 12 page term paper for a sociology class and a 4-5 page film analysis for another sociology class. all this by monday, yikes!!! i will be happy on monday when everything has been handed in by then and i can relax. oh wait no i can't cause next Friday i write my first final and it's going to be hard cause i have a lot of information to review for that. ok so i guess i'll just be happy when the 15th comes around and i write my last final for the semester. cause then i have 3 weeks off to do nothing. which will be so nice. i think i'm going to bake or something. i hope i don't have to work too much.

well i just heard some news today that did not make me very happy. Robert Usher Collegiate might be closing on June 30, 2006 and reopening in the fall 2006 as an elementary school that will hold Imperial, McDermid and Haultain school. And MJ coldwell will close and those students will go to Ruth Pawson School(haha ramona and ilynna, i told you pawson was better lol). but it is definitely sad about Usher. because i went there for 5 years and it's the high school i graduated from. i don't want to see it turn into an elementary school. that would just be weird. but a lot of people are not happy about it so they are going to fight to keep it open as a high school. why not close down a place like Scott Collegiate or Cochrane. those are crappier high schools.

i'm off to school. then when i come home, it will be time to get down to work, no distractions today. i need to get pretty much my whole porfolio done and that 4-5 page paper along with it so that it's ready to go for tomorrow at 4pm.
