this is for you John :)

well John wanted me to post cause i guess he reads my journal so i thought i would even though my life really isn't all that exciting. by the way for anyone else who reads this, John is a guy i met thru my friend Lindsey. he's a super nice guy but he lives in Calgary now :(


anyways well last weekend i got a nice surprise. after my mom and i got home from the craft sale, i noticed that ash had called me from her call, twice. so i called it back but there was no answer. so i tried her house phone but again no answer so i left a message. and then i went on the computer. all of a sudden the doorbell rang so i looked out the window but i couldn't figure out who's car it was and who was in the passenger seat. and all of a sudden i heard my mom saying, sure come on in. so i went to see who it was and there was Ash, standing in my porch. well let me tell you, i sure was shocked. she had told me that she gave her dad money so he could fly home but kept it a secret that she was coming home too. but i was so happy to see her. and i really needed to hang out with her this weekend. i have really missed her, even though i saw her back in september. but she's my best friend and i'm used to spending lots of time with her. so anyways that night we decided to go to Jody's house and surprise her. and boy was she surprised too. cause she hasn't seen ash since the end of july.so we hung out there for a bit and then me, jody and ash went to visit jenn and crystal and then just the 3 of us went to play mini golf. and then just hung out. on saturday i worked on my paper for psych and then at night me, ash, her sister and her sister's friend went to Habano's. it was pretty fun. we were there from like 10-2:30 when it closed. so my legs the next day were so sore. but i'm glad i went out. and it was so awesome to see ash cause now i don't know when i'll get to see her again. i really want to go back out to calgary but i don't know when. it might not be until after next semester. but who knows.

i didn't make it on the dr.phil show. i guess there are more pathetic people out there than me. at least that's what i'm telling myself lol it just would have been nice to get away from here for a couple days and go to L.A. and get a chance to meet him. oh well, maybe there will be another show that i can apply to.

school is less than 3 weeks away from being finished. im getting kind of nervous cause i still have a bunch of things to do, like my 12 page paper that i haven't started on. but hopefully i can get it all done. my plan is to work on some of it this weekend.

tomorrow i am picking my classes for next semester. i want to take psyc 210, psyc 255, psyc 270, sost 203 and soc 222. i think it should be a good semester. and after that semester is over, i'll only have 10 classes left. i'm getting close to finally being done my first degree. so i'm excited about that. i never thought that i would actually finish and get to graduated from university. but maybe i will after all. i would be the first in my family. my parents never went to university so i know they would be proud of me for doing that, although i wish my dad could be here to see that.

that's about all the news from me right now. i'll write more later if anything interesting happens.
