going to the spa soon!!

i cannot wait until friday so i can go to the spa. i think it's going to be a lot of fun. i just hope the roads are good so that we can make it up there ok. i really don't want to cancel and then have to wait longer to go. it will be nice to just go somewhere and relax for a night and not worry about anything. i'm not going to worry about work or school. just take time for myself and enjoy spending some time with my mom. me and her have become especially close over the last year, especially since my dad's passing. i pretty much tell her everything, although there are a few things that i don't tell her. but she doesn't need to know everything. so yah it's going to be fun and i can't wait to relax in the spa.

classes are still going ok. i still think that they won't be too bad. and i am really glad that i won't have a paper due like every week. that was just way too much last semester. i do have a lot of tests though so hopefully i'll do ok on those.

hours at work are really slowing down. i found out on monday night that i was only given 1 shift for next week, but then melissa gave me an extra shift. so i'll probably only have 2 shifts out of a possible 4 that i could work. so that does kind of suck cause i need money to pay off my visa. luckily i get that extra $195 at the end of each month so that can go towards it. i just hope i have it paid off before i go to calgary in february so that i will have some money to go shopping with.

working out at Curves is still going pretty well. i only need to go 1 more time this week to make my 3 times a week. i'm really proud of myself for continuing on with it. i'm glad i signed up for a year cause that will keep my motivation going longer.

well i have started talking to a new guy that i met on Lavalife. i know that i said no more meeting guys off the net but i kind of want to see where this might go. he seems like a really nice guy so far and we seem to have a lot in common. so far we've only written a couple emails back and forth because our schedules are different and we can't seem to meet on the net at the same time but this saturday we are going to meet on here so we can have a chat. so that will be nice. but from what i know about him so far, i like. although i'm not going to get my hopes up because he could turn out like all the other guys i've met off here. but then again, maybe not. and i'm hoping not. so yah we'll see how things go. i don't really want to tell a lot of people about this yet because nothing is really happening yet. and i know that none of my friends really read this so that's ok lol

speaking of meeting guys, i keep seeing Chad, the guy i met back in september, at school. i saw him on monday in the library and today i saw him twice. it was funny, cause the first time i saw him today, i was going into the library and he was leaving and he kind of just stopped and looked at me. but i just kept walking. why say hi to him after he was such a jerk? he probably thinks i was being a bitch for not even saying hi but i don't care. he could have said hi if he really wanted to. but i'm glad things never worked out with him.

anyways i should get going to work. i work 4-9 at the service desk tonight. hopefully it goes by quick. more later.
