Things are looking up

I had a really good weekend in Calgary. It was nice to get away and just be able to relax and not worry about school, work or anything else. Well I of course thought about Jeremy but other than that, didn't really think of much else while i was there. I arrived there on thursday night and Ash and i picked up subs. Then we went to bed because it was late and she had to work the next day. the next morning i tried to sleep in but it didn't work too well. i ended up just watching tv and stuff until she got home at lunchtime. we ordered pizza and then i drove her to work so i could have her car. went to chinook mall and walmart and dollarama. ended up taking slurpees to her and autumn at work. then i went back there at 5 to pick Ash up and the 3 of us went to the mall for supper and then to see night at the museum. On Saturday we were woken up at 7:50am because the fire alarm was going off. but ash didn't seem too concerned because there has been a lot of false alarms happening in her apartment building. and it did turn out to be a false alarm. So that sucked but we went back to sleep. In the afternoon we went shopping at Ikea and then went for lunch. For supper, Ash and i went with her dad to the Olive Garden for supper. It was soo good, definitely one of my favorite places to eat. Sunday was a relaxing day, we just sat around watching movies and TV. we went out for a bit, but just to walmart and to get a few groceries for supper. And then i left Monday morning. It was nice to get to hang out with Ash for a few days. She had told me she had a lot of plans but most of them didn't happen. but it ended up being ok that they didn't happen because i didn't really have a lot of money to spend anyways.

now i'm back to the grind with school and work. and of course spending time with Jeremy. It's going to be a busy few months but it will be worth it in the end when i'm finally done my degree. And then of course that also means my trip to Florida will be right around the corner :)

Yesterday I went and got my hair cut and colored. It has kind of a reddish tinge to it, even though i was going for something closer to my natural hair color, which is a light brown. but that's ok cause it still looks good. i'll post a pic as soon as i take one. It's also layered and cut a little short. It's definitely different but i like it.
