I had a really good date!!

My date with Jeremy last night was fantasic. He's such a sweet guy. First off, he picked me up. He came to my door and when I opened it, he had a single red rose in his hand. That kind of shocked me. But i liked it :) And then we went to see the Holiday, which he paid for. During the movie, he held my hand and put his arm around me so I could snuggle up to him. After the movie, we went to the Pressbox for some drinks and wings. He also held my hand while we were sitting at the table. He told me I looked really good and that he liked being with me. After that, he took me home since we both had to get up early in the morning, even though neither of us wanted the night to end. He even walked me to my door. Most guys just drop me off and we say our good night in the car. So I thought that was very sweet of him. He gave me a little kiss on the lips and then kissed me on the cheek. He told me later that he wanted to kiss me more but didn't want to come on too strong. And that he had wanted to kiss me all night :) Overall, I had an amazing time and it sucks that i'm leaving for the weekend. Because I really want to see him again. I guess i'll just have to be patient. So we are dating but not really as bf/gf. I guess we are seeing each other. He just got out of a 3 year relationship with his exgf in December so he's not ready to just rush into another relationship. but he told me that he does like me a lot and is very attracted to me so we are going to take things slow and just see where things go. I don't want to get my hopes up too high but I hope that things do work out for us. I do realize though that we have only been talking for a week(even though it seems longer) so we do need to get to know each other better. It's just nice to have someone interested in me. Most of the time it's one sided. but not with him.

I leave for Calgary tonight. I'm excited that I get to hang out with Ash this weekend. Apparently she has a lot of things planned for us so i'm very curious to know what they are. I hope she was able to get us tickets for the NHL game tomorrow but if not that's ok. I know that we are going to the Olive Garden for supper one night and I'm definitely going shopping at Ikea. It will just be nice to get away for the weekend, away from everything in Regina. I've been in kind of a slump lately so Ash has plans to cheer me up. She's the one person i know i can always count on to do that.
